Mama! Who knew such a simple word could bring such joy? Oh but it has! My dear sweet Oliver has not used, let alone said, this word or any sound resembling it for probably 10 months. We have tried and tried to get him to call me "mama", but no, "daddy" is soooo much easier apparently. I even tried going on a strike of sorts by not responding to "daddy" but that didn't really work either... you can only ignore your child for so long, especially when they don't see the reasoning.
Well, I am "daddy" no more! Finally! Yay! This weekend Oliver decided that he could (and would) actually start calling me mama! And it is the cutest, sweetest, most exciting thing I've heard in a really long time!
I love my boy and I love being his "mama"!
